Vedanta Resources ("Vedanta") are visiting our Institute onThursday, 26th

November 2009 at 9 am for campus recruitment.The selection process will be

extended to 27th and 28th November 2009(prepare for 26th,27th,28th)

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting of eligible students – Only the students meeting the below

mentioned criteria would be allowed to participate in selection process i.e.

Written test, GD and PI

2. Written Test (Aptitude test) – 45 minutes duration

3. Group Discussion – This would be conducted depending on the number of

students clearing written test

4. Personal Interview

5. Selected students will be given offer (intent letter) on the same day

Eligibility criteria:

1. The candidate must not have crossed 24 years of age as on 30 Sept 09, for

M.Tech – 26 years

2. The candidate must have achieved first class in his 10th and 12th and must

have cleared all subjects in the first attempt. No gap between 10 th and 12th is

allowed.

3. The candidate must have passed all subjects of Engineering in first attempt

and must have an aggregate of 60% in his/her engineering. (Candidate should have

no history of failure). The degree by University should be in first class only.

4. The candidate should not have more than one-year gap between 12th and

engineering.

5. 10+2+4 candidates only will be allowed (no diploma entry engineers)

Compensation (Annual Gross Salary)

1. On Training (6 months) - Rs. 3.00 lacs / annum

2. On Probation (6 months) – Rs. 3.30 lacs / annum

3. On Confirmation (after completion of probation) – Rs. 3.63 lacs / annum

In addition to the above Gross Salary, they will also be entitled for a

retention bonus of Rs. 1.55 lacs spread over a period of 3 ½ years from joining.

&Engg, Electronics &Communication,Electrical &Electronics

Instrumentation ,Mechanical ,Industrial Engg & Management
